Signing a Georgian contract you can't read?

Send it to us. You get every risk flagged in plain English — and the corrected wording to send back. In writing, on your deadline.

Three "standard" clauses people sign every day

The clause, as written

What it says

If you do not give written notice 30 days before the term ends, the contract extends itself for the same term.

The trap

Silence counts as agreement. One missed date and you owe another full term — including when you had already decided to leave.

The fix

The contract is extended only by written agreement of the parties.

The clause, as written

What it says

The provider may change the price and the terms without your consent, and notice counts as given once the change is posted on their website.

The trap

You are signing a price that can change tomorrow. No notice reaches you — you have agreed to go and check their website yourself.

The fix

A change of terms or price takes effect only after the other party agrees in writing.

The clause, as written

What it says

Every late day of rent costs half a percent of the amount owed. Nothing caps the total.

The trap

0.5% a day is 182% a year, with no ceiling — let the delay run long enough and the penalty outgrows the debt itself. It also runs one way only: the landlord has a money obligation too, returning your deposit, and nothing attaches when they are late with it.

The fix

Late rent costs 0.1% per day, capped at 10% of the sum owed — and the same rule applies to the landlord returning your deposit late.

Examples are generic and belong to no specific contract.

What you get

Frequently asked

What documents do you cover?

Leases, purchase agreements, POAs, employment and service contracts, loan and bank documents.

Do you only check contracts, or write them too?

Both. A review comes back as your contract marked up, with corrected wording. Drafting comes back as a finished contract written for your situation, ready to sign. We also write to the other side for you — proposing terms, or setting out a breach when a contract has been broken — priced once we have seen the papers.

The document is in Georgian — is that the point?

Yes. You receive everything in English or Russian.

Can't I just translate it or ask an AI?

You can, and you'll learn roughly what the words say. But when an AI misreads a clause, that is nobody's problem but yours — here a named person answers for every note, and the corrected Georgian wording is something you can send back as contract text. And your document is seen by one person, not by a chat history.

Is this a law firm?

No. kurashvili.ge is a document-analysis service: we tell you exactly what you're signing and give you the corrected wording. If a situation needs court representation, that's outside what we do — we'll say so plainly.

Is my document confidential?

Yes. It is seen only by the person doing the work and is never published. Samples on this site are unrelated, anonymized documents.

I already signed. Is it too late?

No. The markup shows where you stand and what is worth renegotiating.

Do you do calls?

Everything is in writing by design: you get an artifact you can keep, forward, and act on. If something genuinely needs a call — 555 11 67 76.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer to a Georgian account. Send us the document and you get the price, the deadline and the transfer details in one reply. From abroad, Wise works; inside Georgia a transfer arrives in minutes.

Who's behind it

Dimitri Kurashvili

Dimitri Kurashvili

kurashvili.ge carries my name. I'm Dimitri Kurashvili.

I have signed my share of bad contracts, and done plenty of work on trust with no contract at all. I paid for both. Not because anyone hid the terms — because understanding them properly felt like something that needed a specialist and a budget I did not want to spend.

That is the thing I want gone. Knowing what you are signing should be ordinary and affordable, not a privilege. I find my way around Georgian law and read the Georgian original myself, so nothing is lost on the way to you — and I answer for every note in your markup.
